Alabama QB Going Out of State

Throughout the recruiting season there will be players with little to no coverage begin to make a name for themselves. And, one quarterback from Alabama has done just that with his commitment.
Hartselle, Ala. quarterback Chris Crumpton as decided to be a part of the Southern Mississippi football team. The 6-foot-3 and 190 pound signal caller made his decision late last week.

"I like the atmosphere down there," he said. "The coaches treated me better at that camp than the coaches at other camps have in the past.I like the fact that the campus is really close together."
So, is this the final destination?
"For right now, Southern Mississippi is the right place for me and I wanted to go ahead and get it out of the way."
With that does it mean you might still look around or atleast take some other official visits?
"Not that I know of right now," he said. "But it would be nice to take some other official visits. I might think about looking at Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisville."
With that do you have some other scholarship offers?
"Yeah, Middle Tennessee State University, Louisville, and Tennessee at Chattanooga had all offered me in addition to Southern Mississippi," he said.
Crumpton has the frame and experience to be a very accomplished college football player. The pro-style quarterback threw for more than 1400 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior.
Is this one over? Time will tell.
