Alabama OL picks up another offer
Montgomery (Ala.) R.E. Lee offensive lineman Paul Selmon is one of the most physically impressive big men in the state of Alabama. He has picked up his second offer and will be attending two games over the weekend.
“Well I already had an offer from Vanderbilt and I got one from Louisville not too long ago,” Selmon said. “Ole Miss has asked me to come for an official visit, but they have not offered me yet. I hear a pretty good bit from Alabama too.”
The 6-foot-6, 290-pound Selmon runs the 40-yard dash in 5.2 seconds, has a 280-pound bench press and a 485-pound squat.
“I am going to be going to the Vanderbilt game on Saturday and then we are leaving from them there going to the Kentucky-Louisville game for Sunday,” Selmon said. “I would say my top four are Vanderbilt, Louisville, Alabama and Ole Miss.”
Selmon is originally from Ohio and admits to growing up somewhat a fan of the Buckeyes.
“I don’t really want to go too far away from home,” Selmon said. “I am looking for a school that has a solid academic background as well as a school that has a good football program. I want to make sure that I am really comfortable with the coaches of the school I choose.”
