Alabama OL high on Georgia

Bradyn Joiner is a 6-foot-3, 310 pound offensive lineman in the 2023 class out of Oxford (Ala.) and he had a big off-season in terms of offers. He is up to 16 offers now, and some on that list are Arkansas, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Tennessee and West Virginia.

Many of those came over the last few months and he is still in shock.

"It has been crazy getting all the offers I have gotten," said Joiner. "I never thought it would happen like this, especially this soon, so it has been kind of surprising. Before I took a snap as a sophomore, I had so many big offers, and it just came a lot sooner than expected.

"I still can't believe I have all the offers I have already."

If 2020 was a normal year, and recruits were allowed to get out and take visits, Joiner would have taken visits to at least a handful of these schools already.

Visits not being allowed yet is tough for the sophomore.

"I really want to get out. It is just weird right now. Every time I get an offer and talk to the coach about it, we talk about meeting, visiting the school, and we know that cannot happen right now.

"It is just a different time. I just have to keep talking to the coaches, learn about the different schools and trust my instincts. The visits will be important to me, and it is something I really want to do, so as soon as we are allowed to visit schools again, I will be out."

One school in a neighboring state will get a visit from Joiner when the ban is lifted. He has had his eye on the Bulldogs for years, and now that he has the offer, he wants to see Athens.

"The offer from Georgia immediately grabbed my attention," said Joiner. "I didn't even believe I got it at first. It is a big school, I always liked them and they are on the top of my list right now.

"I love how they play, I think Kirby Smart is one of the best coaches and I really want to visit there. I have been watching them for a long time and I can't wait to visit."

A school up north that plays in the Big Ten also has Joiner's attention.

"It is farther away and Michigan State is a little different, but it seems like they have a great culture up there. They have good people there, I like the coaches there and it is a school I have high interest in too."

Outside of visits to Athens and East Lansing, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Tennessee are also on Joiner's list to see in person.
