Alabama offer has Jersey LB excited

Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek linebacker Quanzell Lambert has to feel good about the position he finds himself in today.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Garden State prospect was sitting pretty heading into this week and his position has substantially improved even since then.

Alabama has verbally offered Lambert. Needless to say, he's excited.
"I think that was Monday," Lambert said. "I haven't talked to them. My coach told me about it.
"That's definitely a great school. It's a big program. It's a tremendous program with great history and tradition. I've watched them on T.V."
Lambert said he wouldn't have a problem attending a school as far away from home as Alabama. It might be difficult to set up a visit to a school so far away but Lambert said that would be a priority. He doesn't have any set plans to visit Tuscaloosa yet.
He will be going to another big-name program soon, however.
"Next weekend I'm going to Penn State," Lambert said.
