HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Could Odenville (Ala.) St. Clair County four-star defensive tackle Jalen Cunningham be on the verge of a commitment?

Two schools are high on his list and he may commit to one as soon as this weekend.

"I am thinking about committing," said Cunningham. "I could commit after the game this weekend, but I am not sure yet. I am looking at Alabama and Ole Miss with Ole Miss on top right now. Commitment is something I have been thinking about."

Ole Miss was in Cunningham's home Sunday and he was happy to when Matt Luke was officially named the head coach.

The monster out of Alabama has visited Oxford on three different occasions and he has his official visit set for January 26.

"They are pushing for me to commit. They are really ready for me to be part of their team. I really talk to all of the coaches from Ole Miss and I like them a lot.

"I like the atmosphere a lot and I could see myself there. They coaches want me, they are recruiting me the hardest and I know a lot of their commitments, so I am thinking about making it happen."
