Courtland, Ala., linebacker Ernest Nance has received a few new impressive scholarship offers.
"Nebraska just officially offered me last week," Nance, who is 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, said. "I have big-time offers now from Arkansas, Alabama and Memphis. I have a few others like Louisville and Southern Miss, but I finally have some good options to play around with."
Nance, who is out for the season with a torn ACL, is expected to make it back for basketball season.
"We're already getting back into re-hab," he said. "I'll be 100 percent before long."
What isn't 100 percent is his list of favorites. Nance said he goes back and forth between his leaders every week.
"I do know that I'd like to visit Arkansas, Nebraska, Alabama, Memphis and Tennessee," Nance said. "I'm no longer getting much attention from Oklahoma and Auburn, so you can mark them off the list."
Nance said at this point he does not have a leader.
"I have to keep it open and see how things develop," he said. "That'll happen after I line up some visits."
