Junior to Watch: Jebron Manson
School: Tuscaloosa (Ala.) Hillcrest High School

Position: Linebacker
Size and speed: Manson is 5-foot-11, 220 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds. He possesses impressive strength (370 bench) and overall athleticism (30 vertical).
Statistics: As a junior, he recorded 95 tackles and two interceptions.
Favorite Schools: Alabama, Ole Miss, Auburn, Southern Miss.
Skinny: Manson describes himself as an aggressive run-stopper who has started for the Hillcrest defense since his freshman year.
“I’m able to use my strength to get off blockers and I have real good speed to run down plays,” he said. “I want to make every tackle when I’m out there.”
A few teams taking notice of his skills are Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Southern Miss, Arkansas and Central Florida.
“Alabama is my top team right now,” Manson said. “I’ve always been a big fan since I was real young, being from around here. They’ve got great tradition, and I like the way they play defense. They always have great defensive players every year.
“But I like some other schools, too, like Ole Miss and Auburn and Southern Miss.”
Manson plans to attend the Nike Camp at Auburn and summer camps at Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss.
