Michael Hill says he's looking at
three teams down the homestretch of his recruitment.
"I've got Ole Miss, Florida and Alabama on top right
now," said Hill, a member of the Rivals.com
Alabama Top 30 team and one of
the top-rated defensive tackles in the South. "It's about equal between all of
them."
Hill (6-2, 270, 4.8) will visit Ole Miss this weekend,
followed by a midweek visit to Vandy on Jan. 15, Alabama on Jan. 17 and Florida
on Jan. 24. He was originally scheduled to be at South Carolina on the 24th, but
has since dropped the Gamecocks from his list.
Alabama looked to be slipping out of the picture after
Dennis Franchione's stunning move to Texas A&M, but Hill says the Tide staff has
made a good effort to make him feel wanted.
"I like coach (Mike) Price and the staff he's going to
have," he said. "They made a real good impression on me. I know I could probably
feel comfortable playing for him. We'll just have to see. Florida's coming on
real strong now, and I've liked everything I've heard from Ole Miss, too. It
will probably be whoever I feel best around when I take my official visits.
