Alabama DB back from Tulsa

Tuscumbia (Ala.) Deshler defensive back C.J. Foster made an official visit to Tulsa during the weekend and returned with a favorable impression of the Conference USA champs.
"I liked it up there," Foster said. "I liked the coaches, I liked the players.

"I'm 90 percent sure that that's where I am going to go."
Foster says it will be a couple of weeks before he will make a decision as Southern Mississippi and Memphis coaches are expected to make in-home visits and subsequent decisions about a scholarship offer in January.
Foster enjoyed spending time with Golden Hurricane head coach Steve Kragthorpe.
"(He) was great," Foster said. "He invited us into his home to have dinner. We talked about playing time. We talked about what he could do for me."
Foster, a two-star rated prospect, was impressed by Tulsa's Conference USA championship and its berth in the Liberty Bowl.
"That was a big thing," he said. "My high school team is winning. Tulsa going to a bowl game and winning a conference championship really opened my eyes."
Tulsa is recruiting the 5-foot-11, 170-pound Foster as a cornerback. Cornerbacks coach Jason Jones is Foster's Tulsa recruiter of record.
Foster has Division I-AA offers from Western Kentucky, Tennessee Tech and Alabama State.
