Akron nabs another

East Points (Ga.) Tri-Cities is home to some of the most impressive talent each year in Atlanta, so leave it to red hot Akron to tap the talented pipeline for its latest commitment.
Two-star defensive tackle Dantley Cline committed to the Zips on Tuesday, picking Akron over interest from Memphis, Tulane, UCF and Mississippi State. He said he has had an offer from the Zips for almost a year now and when he took his visit this past weekend he was sold.

"They have some great facilities," Cline said. "It can't get any better than their indoor facility. I also liked the players. They were really down to earth and cool.
"The head coach also impressed me when I visited with them. They have a great setup up there on the visit. We got to see the NFL Hall of Fame, and everything I saw I liked."
Cline said he had 60-plus tackles this season and seven sacks. He earned some sort of all-metro honor this season for the third straight time.
