Ainge returns from UCLA

Four-star quarterback Erik Ainge (6-6, 200, 4.6) Hillsboro (Ore.) Glencoe has returned from his visit to UCLA but he didn’t commit. “I will continue to take trips,” Ainge said. “I will be going to Tennessee next week (Nov. 21).”
“I liked UCLA,” Ainge said. “Good weather, big city, great academics and the coaches are nice.”

“UCLA has a solid future,” Ainge said. “They have a good team and solid group class of recruits coming in.”
Ainge is going to be a very busy young man over the next few weeks. He will visit Tennessee as mentioned before this coming weekend. Ainge will trip Arizona State on November 28th and Oregon on December 5th.
The last visit will go to the red hot Oregon State Beavers who have landed three quarterbacks this season. Though the Beavers have stockpiled quarterbacks, that hasn’t deterred Ainge from visiting the Corvallis campus.
“You have to compete wherever you go,” Ainge said. “I won’t make a decision until after I take my trips.”
Ainge finished the season throwing for 3,049 yards and 24 touchdowns while completing 209 passes on 344 attempts for a completion percentage of 60.8.
Rivals.com rates Ainge as 13 drop-back quarterback in the nation, Rivals.com rated Ainge as the state of Oregon’s number two prospect at any position and he landed as at number 37 on Rivals.com’s Super West 60.
