Ah Mu raves about visit to SDSU

Early on in the recruiting process, San Diego State wasn’t much of a player for the state’s top defensive tackle, Fevaea’I Ah Mu. Ah Mu, 6-0, 300 pounds now has a different view of the Aztecs after his official visit this past weekend.
“Oh man, it was great, I was really surprised there,” Ah Mu said. “I never really saw myself staying this close to home and playing for SDSU a month or so ago but they kept on me and I decided to take a visit and now I’m glad I did. I really hit it off with the players and coaches there, especially Coach Kraft, and they pointed some things to me that make San Diego State a real nice option for me.

“For one, I could get an early jump on the summer workouts and conditioning with the team because the school is close to home. I couldn’t do that at any other school. Being able to play in front of friends and family would also be a big plus and they also said with TCU coming in to the conference next year, that means there will be two more Bowl games for the conference so that’s cool.
“Right now, and maybe because it’s still so fresh in my mind, SDSU might be my leader although Colorado and Washington State are all pretty close. Oregon had a home visit with me on Sunday and I’m going to take my last official visit there this weekend. I wasn’t going to at first because I thought I had enough information already but I’m going to take the visit and I’ve heard a lot of good things about the school and what they have to offer.”
Ah Mu has already visited Arizona, Washington State and Colorado in addition to the Aztecs. He said Colorado will be coming in to the home on Wednesday and he expects to make his decision sometime by the middle of next week.
