Agwuenu getting good looks

Chino Hills (Calif.) Ayala receiver Alonso Agwuenu was one of the better players to compete at the Los Angeles NIKE Training Camp earlier this spring, and that camp along with an impressive film, has been enough for several schools to take the plunge and offer him a scholarship.
"I have offers from Ole Miss, Oregon and then Colorado offered me, too," he said. "But just recently I've talked the most with Utah, San Diego state and Arizona mostly. I know a couple of coaches like USC have been by looking for me, but I'd say that Oregon, Cal and Arizona are my top three.

"I think Oregon is still pushing ahead in first on my list. I like their offense and I like Eugene. I have some cousins that live up there and they told me it's a real nice city. I just like the school."
Agwuenu, who is 6-foot-3 and 184 pounds is in the process of moving schools. He hopes to be able to play next season at Chino Hills.
"Since I'm switching schools to a better program I just want to wait and see before I make any commitments," he said. "I should get more looks now. So I'll probably be waiting until next year sometime to make a decision. I think we're going to do great. I'm hoping for a ring. I know everybody is, but I honestly mean it."
Are there any schools he wants to get a scholarship from?
"Washington would be one" he said. "They've been sending me letters and everything but no offer yet."
Agwuenu hopes to take unofficial visits this summer to Oregon, Mississippi, Arizona and Cal.
