Aggies impress South Florida QB

MIAMI - Sometimes quarterbacks coming out of South Florida get overlooked with all of the wide receivers and defensive backs coming out of the area. However, Miami (Fla.) Hialeah Lakes gunslinger Thaddeus Lewis has plenty of schools after his services and could be close to narrowing things down.
"Right now the season is going real well," Lewis said. "At the beginning we struggled a little bit because the offensive line was young and stuff. They have begun to gel together and clicked and things have started snowballing for us."

The 6-foot-1, 189-pound Lewis attended the Miami NIKE camp where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.88 seconds, the shuttle in 4.25 seconds and had a 27-inch vertical jump.
"Out of all the schools that have offered I have just tried to sit back and observe and watch as much college football as I can," Lewis said. "Coaches can tell you a lot and all, but you can see a lot for yourself by watching games. A&M, Michigan State, South Florida, Pittsburgh and West Virginia are some of the ones that I'm really keeping an eye one."
Lewis is ranked as the No. 74 player in the state of Florida and is ranked as the No. 10 dual-threat quarterback in the nation by Rivals.com.
"I am really impressed with Texas A&M coming all the way down here to recruit me," Lewis said. "Coach Tammerdahl told me that they could find a guy bigger than me or faster than me, but it's my leadership that they really like. They've been very honest with me and he calls me once a week, I've developed a good relationship with him and they have really impressed me a lot."
As a junior Lewis threw for 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns en route to all-Dade County honors. He has helped his team jump to a 3-1 start so far this season.

I told my team that I would give them 110-percent and I am going to do that. We are having a good year and I don't want the fact that I am getting recruited to mess that up."Here to view this Link.
