Aggies gig a big commtiment

Waco, Texas, three-star receiver Torey Degrate planned to commit to Oklahoma State or Texas A&M last week when his teammate Marcus Walker announced his commitment to Oklahoma. However, Degrate, who is 5-foot-11 and 177 pounds, said he wanted to wait things out and spend another week sorting out his academics.
But Degrate got tired of sorting through his academic future and decided to sort out his future in college football.

So with that in mind, Degrate made the call to Texas A&M and committed to the Aggies over OSU and heavy interest from Arkansas, LSU and Purdue.
“The atsmophere and coaching staff were really cool,” Degrate said. “I think I can go in there and play early and made a good contribution. They made me feel good about what I can do down there and about how I can make a difference.”
Degrate’s commitment is another piece in the impressive recruiting puzzle that Dennis Franchione is putting together. With Degrate’s commitment, this might solidify the Aggies in the Rivals.com top 15 come signing day.
