Aggies extend offer to Texas RB

After a breakout junior season, Klein (Texas) Collins running back Michael Goodson has received his first offer from a major Division I school and another is planning to do so.
Goodson has been officially offered by Texas A&M and Texas will have an offer upon taking his standardized tests.

"He got his first offer and it's coming pretty fast," Collins coach Ronnie Feldman said. "Coaches are passing through here and love him. He will have several offers."
Goodson (6-0, 190-pounds) had 97 rushes for 1,002 yards and 13 touchdowns; 11 catches for 275 yards and five touchdowns and eight scores off kicks.
"He's special," Feldman said. "He's the entire package. He can run, jump, catch -- he's coachable. He has no flaws. He's a dominating force when he touches the ball and he has a tremendous knack for scoring. I really think he will play on Sunday's and I don't ever say that about kids."
Goodson is also a starter for the Collins' basketball team, along with his two younger brothers. The younger Goodsons also play football.
"Their father played college basketball and pro-ball in Canada," Feldman said. "They are a basketball family, but Michael has a passion for football."
