Aggies close to offering Black

Houston (Texas) Cypress Falls defensive tackle Jerrod Black may have his recruiting plan all lined up after this week.
The 6-foot-2, 280-poudner says that he recently found out that Texas A&M coach Jim Bob Helduser will be coming for an in-home visit on Monday evening. Black says he'll find out then whether or not the Aggies will offer.

If they do, it looks like a two-team race for the sleeper.
"I've been talking to coach Helduser for a while," Black said. "He told me that he was going to talk to me this week and we'll talk about an offer then.
"I'm going to take an official visit to Iowa State this weekend. After I come back from there, I might go to Texas A&M."
Black says this really looks like a race between the Cyclones and the Aggies.
"I think after I come back from Iowa State, and if A&M offers, it will be between those two for my commitment," Black said. "I don't know what might happen just yet, but that's the way it looks."
