The Gardena (Calif.) Serra defensive end, who is expected to be at the Southern California Rivals Camp this weekend, said Fresno State has reached out and USC has started some early communication as well.
"I had some of my coaches tell me that Fresno State wanted to talk with me," Adolphus said. "I talked to one of the USC coaches the other day, like last week, so I was talking to them but that's pretty much it. I heard Fresno State was supposed to offer me but I don't know, I think they might be waiting to talk to me."
So far, the 6-foot-3, 211-pound defensive end has been offered by Washington State, San Diego State and San Jose State. Adolphus has sent out film to Oregon State and some other Pac-12 programs could get involved as his recruitment continues.
Washington State has been very involved with the Serra standout early and he's definitely taking notice - but not rushing a decision.
"They got put on me by one of my coaches," Adolphus said. "I already made my film from when the season was over and they were able to get it. They looked at my highlights and that's how I got my offer because they said they watched my film.
"I'm not going to commit anywhere right now because people are telling me there are more offers to come. I'm going to do what I have to do this year and see who else comes to offer me. When it's time to sign and commit then I'll be ready to do it."
Adolphus said he's going to take things slowly, take his official visits and then reach a decision much later in his recruitment.
"I'm going to look at these colleges," Adolphus said. "I only have a few times to visit these colleges and I'm probably going to take visits out-of-state. I'm going to Washington State because they've really been on me since they offered me."
