Additional visits planned for Kinsey

MIAMI, Fla. - Following Friday's Nike South Florida All-Star Game, defensive end Eric Kinsey talked about where his recruitment stands at this time. The 6-foot-3, 250-pounder has taken a pair of official visits, traveling to Cincinnati and West Virginia.
"It was a great place," Kinsey said of Cincinnati. "I can see myself being there in the future if some things happen."

"That was a nice visit too," Kinsey said of West Virginia. "I took that visit with my teammate Imarjaye Albury. We had a nice time."
The three-star defender, who does not claim a leader at this time, is preparing to take three official visits in January.
"I have three more visits lined up," Kinsey said. "Right now I have UConn, Louisville, and the other one is FAMU"
One of those visits is likely to be canceled and replaced with a school that made recent contact with the South Florida prospect.
"I might cancel one and add Georgia to it because I talked to Georgia coaches (Friday) before the game. I talked to Coach Bryan (McClendon) and Coach (Todd) Grantham, the defensive coordinator. They were talking to me about getting up there in January, so I might cancel one of the other visits so I get up there in January."
"So I am going to cancel FAMU and take that one up to Georgia," Kinsey added.
According to Kinsey, Georgia is looking at him as an outside linebacker. Kinsey says that schools running a 3-4 scheme are interested in him as an outside linebacker while those that run a 4-3 scheme want him as a defensive end.
As a senior, Kinsey says he recorded 10 sacks.
Academically, he has earned an 18 on the ACT and has a 2.9 GPA.
