Addison starting to take visits

Offensive tackle A.J. Addison out of Fredericksburg (Va.) Fredericksburg Christian is still looking for his first offer. However, the 6-foot-7, 320-pounder is taking unofficial visits, his first last week.
"I went to Virginia for their spring game," he said. "It was good. I really enjoyed it. I liked the way the coaches are and everyone treated me well. I loved it.

"The coach told me he saw me on film and he knows I can play for him. He just wants to see me in person, he wants me to come to their big man camp to see how I can move."
For Addison, it was his first visit to Charlottesville.
"I loved it, I loved the vibe and the coaches," he said. "They've got a nice coaching staff and I like Mike London and the way he runs things."
Addison plans to take another trip in the next few weeks to Maryland.
"I'm probably going to go up there in a couple weeks," he stated. "They told me they just want me to come up and visit the school, see the scenery."
The lineman claims no favorites as he waits for his first scholarship.
"It doesn't matter to me who comes in, I'm just trying to get an offer already," he said. "Everyone just wants to see me at camp, in person to see if I can move. Since my weight is up there, they want to check me out and it's not a problem."
