Addison is a big lineman to watch

Despite being at a relatively unfamiliar school for college football recruiting, A.J. Addison is emerging as a prospect to watch. The 6-foot-7, 320-pound lineman has gotten interest from a number of ACC programs.
"Virginia is kind of interested in me and I'm visiting there on Saturday," he said. "Maryland and Liberty are interested. Virginia Tech was interested last year, but I lost contact with them after I transferred from Caroline High School. I'm also hearing from North Carolina.
"They are all just showing interest and telling me to come to their camps."
What is Addison looking for in a college?
"I want a good program that is going to teach me how to be a good football player," he said. "I want a good education too and a good setting. I also want to study business."
After moving over from Caroline, Addison earned all-state honors as a junior while helping Fredericksburg Christian in their third season to the playoffs.
"I think I'm a hard nosed player," he said. "I work hard and have a good work ethic. I just want to go to the next level, that's all I want."
