Add another ring for Carter

Jenks, Okla., cornerback Jason Carter played a big role in helping the Trojans capture their sixth straight state title last weekend. Now he's turning his attention toward the recruiting process.
"I'm going to Oklahoma next weekend," Carter, who returned an interception 35-yards for a score and also rushed for 90 yards, said.

"I was supposed to stick around Oklahoma State after the game for a visit, but my brother came into town and we went back to Tulsa to celebrate."
Carter, who 5-11 and 175 pounds, has been a long time Oklahoma lean. Could we see a commitment this weekend on the visit?
"I can see myself committing," he said. "But it's going to take more than just a good football team or history. I'm going to want to know what they are going to do with me specifically and what the academic options are. I have a few questions, I guess."
And if he doesn't get them all answered, Carter said he’d then take trips to Tennessee, Alabama and Nebraska. He does not have dates lined up with anybody other than OU at this point.
"I liked what I saw with Tennessee," Carter said. "They're also really high up on my list now. That was a big win over Florida."
