Add another for Tennessee

Tennessee's newest member of the Class of 2002 is actually a member of the Class of 2000.
Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College defensive end Mondre Dickerson, who is 6-foot-4 and 268 pounds, confirmed on Monday that he indeed is heading back to Tennessee the school he originally signed with out of Memphis in 2000.

However because of a lack of a credit in a ninth grade English class, Dickerson had to attend Coffeyville where he has continued to blossom into one of the Jayhawk Conference's best defenders.
"The first couple of games this season he wasn't working as hard as he needed to," said Coffeyville assistant Sean Cherico.
"But he's really stepped it up the last couple of games. He's playing like the man that he should be."
Dickerson has racked up 33 tackles and three sacks so far this season, and it's that type of production that Tennessee hopes to use when they get him in Knoxville.
"Coach Caldwell said they wish they had me now because they need me," Dickerson said. "I told them that I’d be there as soon as I can."
Cherico echoed Dickerson's comments.
"Coach Caldwell called up here last week, and said they are happy that Mondre is heading back there," Cherico said.
"Guys like Mondre just don't grow on trees. He'll be an impact player in the SEC, just like he is for us here. He’s just so explosive off the ball. He runs a 4.57-second 40 and you can see it in his explosion off the line."
Dickerson will have three years to play two seasons and is expected to graduate in the fall.
