Adams leads undefeated Elkin team

Linebacker Terry Adams out of Elkin, N.C. has helped his team to an 8-0 record on the season. The 5-foot-11, 212-pounder has seen a lot more double teams his senior season, but that hasn't stopped the two-star prospect.
"The season is going really good and I'm doing well," he said. "I have no idea how many sacks or tackles I have, but I know I've done a lot. I still think I should have more tackles, but I'm getting double teams. I can tell this year I'm much faster, stronger and more agile. I've been working on my cardio and it gets me ready.

"Our team is a lot better too. They are a lot faster on defense and we have more athletes going at it too and it helps that everyone is working together."
One the recruiting front, Adams still holds a lone offer from North Carolina State, but gets plenty of other interest.
"I know Marshall, Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Wake Forest are still interested and North Carolina State and Wake contact me regularly," he said. "I believe Marshall, UNC and Wake Forest are also mentioning a possible offer. They tell me they are very interested and want to evaluate me more after the season and they'll let me know."
The inside linebacker prospect has started to consider official visits.
"I believe I'll be headed to North Carolina State, I'd also like to get to Texas, Georgia and Oklahoma too, but we'll see what happens," he said. "I know I won't be able to take any of them until after the season."
Currently, Adams has no favorites, so what is the prospect looking for out of a school?
