Adams has a solid trip to Maryland

Cary, N.C. running back Josh Adams took his second straight official visit to Maryland over the weekend. The 6-foot-0, 170-pounder had a solid trip to College Park. What did Adams like about it?
"It was a nice visit," he said. "They have good facilities including a nice weight room, the campus is spread out more than Wake Forest and it was just a real nice atmosphere. It was a little chilly on my trip though.

"I got there on Saturday and went out to lunch and then had dinner at the Marriott near campus with the coaches. That evening I went and learning about the academics at Maryland and met the rest of the staff. I also got to tour the campus and hang out with the players including my host Jared Gaiter. He was pretty cool and thought I would fit in well with the team and believes I could be very successful in their program."
On Sunday, the four-star prospect met up with Ralph Friedgen.
"That was a good conversation and he basically told me about the program, his history and what he expects out of his players," he said. "He really expressed a need for me and also said he'd stick with me through the end no matter what. I really appreciated that."
Adams rated his trip to Maryland an 8.5.
"They have a nice program and this visit was very comparable to Wake Forest," he said. "I don't think any visit could be a perfect 10 because there is always some down sides."
The No. 3 player in North Carolina is expecting to take his final official visit next week to North Carolina State.
"I just want to see what they've got to offer and what it's like there," he said. "I also really want to check out how the players and coaches interact with one another."
