Adams felt at home at Wake Forest

Four-star running back Josh Adams out of Cary, N.C. took his first official visit to Wake Forest last weekend. The 6-foot-0, 170-pounder was quite impressed with what the Demon Deacons had to offer.
"They made me feel really welcome and at home there," he said. "Everybody was very generous and friendly. I got very comfortable with the whole atmosphere.

"I got up there on Saturday and went out to eat with my host James Adams which was nice. He informed me a lot about the program and how their best years are to come. It was really nice to get a different point of view from a player's perspective. That night I hung out with a bunch of the players and I got to meet with the position coach. On Sunday, I went to the Duke-Wake Forest basketball game which was interesting and then my mom and I met with head coach Jim Grobe. It was a very interesting conversation and he informed me how much the program is going to change and how they needed me to help them get to the place they wanted to be. He also reminded me how good the academics are."
Overall the No. 3 player in the Tar Heel state rated his trip an 8.5 or 9.
"I've been there quite a few times, but I felt very comfortable and good around the guys. They made me feel at home," he said. "I'd still say all three teams are even for me as I still have to check out the other two to see what they have to offer."
What is Adams looking for this week in College Park?
"There isn't too much I want to see, I just want to see what they have to offer and enjoy myself."
The No. 6 all-purpose back in the country confirmed that he is down to Wake Forest, Maryland and North Carolina State. He plans to make a decision sometime close to Signing Day.
