ACC trio standing out for 2016 DB

He's just about to enter is sophomore year but already Class of 2016 defensive back Ronnie Blackmon is getting heavy interest from schools in the Southeast.
Blackmon already has an offer from Georgia Tech and attended the Yellow Jackets camp last month.

"It was a good camp," Blackmon said. "I got a chance to talk to some of the coaches and spend some time with them and it went well."
Blackmon has taken unofficial visits to Georgia Tech in the past but he appreciated the opportunity to see how the Yellow Jacket coaches work in an on-field environment.
"I like what the coaches have to offer," Blackmon said. "They have pretty good facilities, too. They talked to me before the camp and let me know they're going to keep watching me, especially this season on the field.
Blackmon also attended Georgia's Dawg Night event and camped at Clemson, where he got a chance to sit down and talk with head coach Dabo Swinney.
"Coach Swinney pulled me into his office and he was saying I'm someone they're watching," Blackmon said. "He said they'll be at some of my games this season and they'll be watching to see how I do."
Blackmon and his Sandy Creek teammates are already preparing for the upcoming season, but that hasn't stopped him from thinking about unofficial visits this fall.
"I'm looking forward to going to see Florida State play," Blackmon said. "I also want to go to Florida-Georgia and hopefully I'll get to see FSU play Miami."
