ACC, SEC B1G schools after NC WR

Class of 2016 three-star wide receiver Cornell Powell of Greenville (N.C.) Rose has gotten off to a terrific start this season. His recruitment has started off well also. Powell already holds offers from ACC, SEC and Big Ten teams.
"Some schools have stood out to me like Clemson, Florida State, Ohio State and LSU," said the 6-foot-1, 190-pound Powell. "I like Georgia, but they have not offered me a scholarship yet."

Powell did say that Clemson, Florida State, North Carolina, Alabama and Ohio State are recruiting him the hardest right now.
The most recent scholarship offer that Powell has received was from West Virginia. He knows a little bit about the school as he is beginning to talk to the West Virginia coaching staff.
"They play a lot of football there," he said. " We just started talking to them, so I don't really know them that well yet."
Powell would like to try to visit West Virginia at some point. His most recent visit was to Wake Forest and he said that he really enjoyed the visit.
"It was great," Powell said. "The campus was amazing and I was really impressed with their business school. Also, they're building an indoor facility, so that's uplifting too."
Powell said that he is planning to visit Clemson this weekend and he is unsure what schools he would visit after Clemson.
Powell, who plans on announcing during his senior year, has caught 38 passes for 625 yards, scored seven touchdowns, averaging 16.4 receiving yards per game and has 104.2 receiving yards per game in six games.
