ACC offers coming for NC ATH

Athlete Crezdon Butler out of Asheville, N.C. now has two offers and he thinks other ACC schools are very close to offering him as well.
The 6-foot-0, 180-pounder thinks both Clemson and Virginia are very close to offering him. He received his first offer from North Carolina and a recent offer from Wake Forest. However, the two new schools are also on his mind.

"I like what Clemson is talking about," he said. "They are looking for me to play offense and defense, probably wide receiver and cornerback. Virginia says I can be a good safety or cover corner, but it doesn't look like they have much for me on offense, maybe also some specialist work for them too."
Is there a position Butler would rather play?
"I'd rather be a wide receiver, over a safety," he said. "I do like cornerback too though and just because Virginia isn't recruiting me on offense doesn't mean I'll look at them any less, everyone is still equal right now."
Butler also recently made a trip to Virginia, so how did he like the Cavaliers?
"The visit was nice, I liked it and it's a big school," he said. "What really stood out about the visit was that I really enjoyed talking to the coaches, especially assistant coach Danny Rocco."
Butler is still hoping to hear a lot more from Georgia, a team he grew up with.
"I really like Georgia and I've been a fan of them for the longest time," he said. "I've got family down there, so it would be nice to be close to them and I just like the football there. It's a big football school."
Besides these schools, Butler has heard from pretty much the entire ACC along with Tennessee.
"Academics are important so my first two offers are great," he said. "Both UNC and Wake have great programs."
This spring, Butler is keeping himself busy doing outdoor track.
"It's going pretty good," he said. "I'm number eight in the 100 meter and number seen in the triple jump right now."
As for combines, he is planning on attending the Georgia Nike Camp and is looking at the Virginia Tech Nike Camp. Currently, no camps are scheduled for this summer.
This season, Butler ran for 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns, he also added 700 yards passing and five touchdowns. For the season, Butler was named first team athlete and all-conference first team.
