ACC leader for Florida sleeper

Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater safety/linebacker Charles Pugh is yet another sleeper prospect in the Sunshine State that is beginning to make a big time name for himself. He has several impressive offers and a strong leader at this point.
“I have offers from NC State, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan and Central Florida,” Pugh said. “Right now I have an official visit set up with NC State for January 14.”

Pugh attended the Miami NIKE camp in April. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Pugh ran a 4.79 second 40-yard dash at the camp, but ran a 4.63 later in the summer. He has a 295-pound bench press.
“NC State is my leader right now,” Pugh said. “After that it is West Virginia and then Georgia Tech is probably No. 3. I talk with the coaches at NC State a lot. I know where I stand with them in terms of playing time and all that. I am going to take official visits to Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, West Virginia and Eastern Michigan as well.”
Pugh has played in 12 games this season where he has collected 97 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and leads the county with 11 sacks. His team will face Killian this Saturday night for the 6A state title.
“I have an in-home visit with NC State scheduled for Wednesday and an in-home visit with West Virginia on Friday,” Pugh said. “Right now I plan on trying to wait a little while before I commit anywhere.”
