Four-star linebacker Manny Abreu recently named his top five schools. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder out of Union City (N.J.) Union Hill has now scheduled an official visit to one of his favorites.
"I've scheduled a visit during my bye week on September 29th to Florida for the Alabama game," he stated. "That's the only visit I've scheduled so far because it worked out for me. I just want to check out the school and get to talk with the coaches some more.
"I like their coaching staff. They are very fun to be around. They are also funny and serious when they have to be."
Abreu believes he'll take all five visits to his leaders. The other schools include Boston College, Florida State, Michigan and Rutgers.
"All the schools are the same at this time," he said. "I'm probably going to schedule some of my other visits during the season and then some will be after."
In the meantime, the Rivals250 prospect is preparing for the season.
"We got back from camp yesterday and have our first scrimmage tomorrow," he stated. "I think our team is going to be pretty good. I feel like personally I'm a lot faster and much stronger than last year."
