Aboushi nearing a decision

Four-star offensive tackle Oday Aboushi out of Brooklyn (N.Y.) Xaverian was scheduled to visit Maryland this past weekend. Did the 6-foot-6, 300-pounder make the trip?
"I cancelled my visit," he said. "I don't plan to go to Maryland now."

What is next for Aboushi?
"Rutgers will probably be my next visit, sometime soon in early January, maybe January 9th if I don't commit before that."
The No. 4 prospect in New York has one school standing out at the moment.
"Right now I'm probably focused on Virginia," he said. "They have a great program a lot of stuff going on. They are a really great place.
"Right now I'm waiting to get my recruiting over."
Aboushi had been committed to Boston College but recently de-committed and has apparently narrowed down his list of schools to Virginia and Rutgers.
"I might commit before I take any other visits, I'm not sure," he said. "I'll talk it over with my family."
