Aboushi confirms his fifth offer

Offensive tackle Oday Aboushi out of Brooklyn (N.Y.) Xaverian has landed another offer in recent weeks. The 6-foot-6, 300-pounder picked up his fifth scholarship from the ACC.
"I got an offer from Boston College a week or two ago," he said. "I'm definitely excited about it. It's a great school and football program. They are known for putting out offensive linemen and that's a big offer in the recruiting process.

"Right now I have nothing planned there yet. Once the season is done I'll take more visits."
Aboushi holds five offers from Boston College, Iowa, Maryland, Rutgers and Virginia.
Is anyone else close to pulling the trigger?
"I'm getting recruited heavily by Pittsburgh, Stanford and Illinois," he stated. "I still want to check out my options.
"As of now I don't have any favorites. All of them are great schools and programs and I want to take visits to see where I'm most comfortable at."
Penn State appeared to be close to offering a couple weeks back. Are they still?
"I met the offensive coach and he was impressed with my size and ability to move around," he said. "He liked my film this year, but they are still evaluating me."
The four-star prospect has helped Xavierian to a 4-3 record this season.
"Actually we just beat a highly ranked team 30-14," he said. "That was a big win for us. We have to keep moving and get to that championship. We have one game left and then the playoffs.
"I have seen an improvement this season without a doubt. Going to all these college camps, my speed training and weight lifting is better."
