Abdallah picks Ohio State

Ohio State has landed a commitment from one of the top prospects in the state of Louisiana, defensive tackle Nader Abdallah . His official announcement will come on Wednesday afternoon.
Abdallah told the 'Times-Picayune' of New Orleans on Tuesday night, "It was a very hard decision. But I am positive I made the right decision. I bonded with the players at Tennessee and Ohio State. But a coach from Colorado told me on my visit to 'take football out of the equation' and consider if you can live in that state. Columbus is similar to New Orleans. It's a booming place in business, and I can see myself living there after football. And it has a large Arab community."
The 6-foot-5 and 290 pound Abdallah made 76 tackles for Metairie (La.) Rummel during the regular season despite missing three games with an ankle injury. Abdallah had 12 sacks including playoff games. He is the Rivals.com number 42 defensive tackle prospect with a three star rating. Abdallah made official visits to Ohio State, Tennessee, Michigan State, Florida State, and Colorado before selecting the Buckeyes.
