Aaron serious about SEC

Austin Aaron is serious about Florida, so much so that he plans to spend his own money to fly to the East Coast this summer to check out the school.
The Florida coaching staff envisions the Napa, Calif., three-star who earned the wide receiver MVP at the RCS Northern California this past weekend as a pass-catching tight end and he's hopeful a visit this summer will land him another offer.

Aaron, a 6-foot-5, 202-pound prospect, said he plans to visit Florida, Duke and some Ivy League schools this summer and he's excited about the trip.
"In the early summertime I'm going to head out and start in Florida and then make my way up to Duke and then hit all the Ivy League schools," Aaron said.
"(The Florida coaches) want to see me on campus and make sure I'm really interested in their program and then they're going to hopefully make me an offer.
"They like me as a pass-catching tight end. They want me to add about 40 pounds so that would be pretty cool."
Shortly after earning the wide receiver MVP award on Sunday, Cal offered the Napa standout. Duke, Brown, Harvard, Nevada, Penn, San Jose State and Yale have also offered.
Getting an offer from the Gators sounds like it could be a game-changer.
"That would be huge," Aaron said. "That would be absolutely huge. That is a big-time program right there. I would be so excited if they offered me."
The three-star recruit who could see a bump in the rankings after his performance at the RCS Northern California said Washington, UCLA and USC have reached out recently as well.
