Aaron on board with ACC offer

Duke is having a tremendous season and 2015 wide receiver Austin Aaron is thrilled that the Blue Devils came through with his first offer.
The Napa, Calif., standout said he loves Duke's offense and is really excited to be on the board with an ACC offer.

"That was my first offer," Aaron said. "I'm very excited for coach (David) Cutcliffe and the program. It looks like a program on the rise so I'm happy about that.
"I've been getting a lot of mail from them and then their offensive coordinator, Kurt Roper, he came by and offered me and that's kind of how it went."
The 6-foot-5, 202-pound prospect said Duke wants to use him in a specific position and he's definitely interesting in hearing more from the Blue Devils. It's his first offer and there is a long way to go in his recruitment but Aaron said there is a lot to like about the Duke program.
"I might make it down there over break," Aaron said. "I'm not sure yet. It's pretty far away.
"The offense looks great. He was telling me how I'd fit as a wide receiver/tight end hybrid. I really like the way they spread the ball around and get it in the hands of their playmakers."
The Napa standout said Duke is his lone offer but he's receiving a great amount of interest as well. Aaron said Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame and almost all the Pac-12 schools have reached out mainly UCLA, Washington and Cal.
