A third offer for Jax center

Tramell Williams had a good day and he didn't even go to school. Williams, 6-2 and 260 pounds, was home sick. While resting he received good news. Earlier in the day he received a scholarship offer from South Carolina. Then later he got one from Southern Miss.
"Southern Miss was (scholarship) No. 3," Williams said. "I really don't know much about them and will have to do my research. They came to a practice and I think I fit in well with their offense. I have talked with them a few times but I need to get comfortable with their overall program and go from there.

Williams had one offer going into today and that was from Vanderbilt. Then he got another one this morning.
"South Carolina offered me today," Williams said earlier on Monday. "It would really mean a lot for me to play for a great coach like coach (Steve) Spurrier. I love the direction that the program is going and I think that's a place where I have a great chance of getting on the field early. I'm going to visit there this summer and check out the program with my family and go from there.
"I could see myself as a Gamecock."
One team that could be close to offering this Jacksonville (Fla.) Robert E. Lee High School standout is Miami. It could happen very soon.
"They came to see me today but I wasn't in school. They also came by last week. If Miami offered that would be pretty big and I think it would open up other doors as well."
This season Williams is playing right tackle and defensive tackle. They lost 22 seniors off of last year's team.
"I really think I can play all five positions on the offensive line. I am not the tallest player but I have very long arms and good footwork. I think most teams like me at center."
