A Rocky Mountain Husky

The Washington Huskies have had a tremendous amount of success in Colorado in the past and UDub coach Tyrone Willingham has to be on a Rocky Mountain high after landing his latest commitment.
According to his father, Aurora (Colo.) Regis Jesuit three-star receiver Alvin Logan committed to the Huskies on Tuesday after officially receiving an offer from Willingham.

"They got on his trail late in the summer," said A.D. Logan, Alvin's father and position coach at Regis.
"Bob Simmons came to Regis and watched some film on him from last year and took it back to the staff. Then we sent out some senior film as well. They saw that and coach Willingham called, and then he called again to let us know that he was interested in Alvin. Then a couple of days ago Alvin Jr. got the call from coach with the offer.
"He then made his commitment. He always liked the Pac 10 and Washington was always at the top of his list. He said if that offer came in, that he wasn't going to dilly-dally around and jump on it."
And that he did.
Logan turned down offers from Arizona, Air Force and New Mexico State to play for the Huskies. He was also being recruited by Washington State and other schools. As a senior he had 34 catches for 575 yards and nine touchdowns. He had 79 career receptions for 1,293 yards and 18 scores.
"He's really improved his game physically," his father said. "He's going to report to Washington about 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds with less than five percent body fat. He's just continued to blossom as a player, and he's gotten bigger, stronger and faster.
"I'm every excited for him. I always planned on watching a lot of Pac 10 football when he went to college, and now I'll be doing that for sure with him at Washington."
