A package for Coach Franchione

Houston Lamar receiver Brandon LaFell may be closer to a decision than he’s leading on.
LaFell (6-2, 175-pounds) has a bookend teammate in wide receiver Quincy Driver (6-1, 170-pounds), who committed to Texas A&M last week. While he claims that he will take some visits this year, LaFell gave some early insight to his decision.

“I rank Oklahoma State and LSU as my favorites,” he said. “But I think that Quincy and I will be teammates for years to come.”
While he seems to be a lean to the Aggies, the wide-out won’t pull the trigger. He has been offered by the Aggies, Houston and Arizona.
He will be attending the Texas A&M summer camp and the Nike Camp in Baton Rouge, La., with Driver. Driver is taking a test on May 1st, forcing the twosome to travel to Louisiana. LaFell will also be playing AAU basketball this summer as his team’s point guard.
“I love basketball, but I haven’t gotten any offers,” he said. “I would consider playing both sports if it was an option.”
