A great visit for Hamilton

No school has come to the forefront after DaeSean Hamilton's first official visit to Wake Forest. However, the athlete from Stafford (Va.) Mountain View felt right at home in Winston-Salem.
"I enjoyed it, it was pretty good," said the 6-foot, 182-pound Hamilton. "I went over to the stadium before the game and talked with the players and coaches. I got to watch warm-ups and the game from the sideline. After the game I ate dinner and went and hung out with the players. On Sunday, I met with the coaches again and went on a tour of the campus and talked with the academic advisors."

What will Hamilton remember most from his visit?
"I think the game atmosphere and the coaches stick out in my mind the most about the weekend," he explained. "The coaches were very hospitable. I was with them and their families most of the time and got to know them and talk with them about football and other things.
"The players were great," Hamilton said. "We talked about the coaches, what they do on a day-to-day basis, what it is like playing football at Wake and what the school, schedules and dorms are like."
Hamilton has said in the past that he has no favorites yet and he stands by that but is Wake Forest in good shape to land his commitment?
"Wake has always been in the mix," he said. "I've been talking to them since last spring. I've had a really good relationship with them and I've been really high on them and I like that they need wide receivers. I talk with Coach (Jonathan) Himebauch and Coach (Lonnie) Galloway a lot."
Schools like Virginia Tech, Virginia, Duke, Penn State, Illinois and Miami have extended offers to Hamilton but he is not naming any favorites.
Hamilton is trying to plan visits to Virginia Tech and Penn State.
