Giant OL is ready for official visits to Arkansas, his leader

Joseph Stone visited Arkansas late in February and since that first time in Fayetteville, the Razorbacks have been on top of his list.

Stone is a mountain of a man at 6-feet, 8-inches tall and 340 pounds. The Hogs want the three-star offensive lineman out of Trussville (Ala.) Hewitt-Trussville to play guard for them.

He is set to take his official visit to Arkansas this weekend and he is looking forward to it.

IN HIS OWN WORDS: "Arkansas has been my top school since I went on my visit there," said Stone. "The facilities, the coaches and the program as a whole are the main reasons they are on top.

"The coach I talk with the most is coach [Dustin] Fry (offensive line) and we talk about two to three times a week. We have been talking lately a lot about my visit and spring football.

"I would say Arkansas is recruiting me pretty hard right now. I am looking forward to getting back out there this weekend and talking to the coaches and meeting some of the players.

"I am not sure about when I will commit. Right now I am keeping my options open."

RIVALS REACTION: Arkansas is on top, so they are in a good spot for the Alabama offensive lineman. Louisville, Purdue and Troy are some other schools that are actively pursuing Stone, so we will see who he visits next. He does not have any visits scheduled at this time after the one to Arkansas.
