A few stand out to Davis

Despite a junior season that was cut short by injuries, Bastrop, Texas, cornerback Antwuan Davis has been a hot commodity as of late. The 6-foot, 180-pound defender has close to two dozen offers to his name.
This past weekend the Rivals250 prospect visited Notre Dame, a school that offered earlier in the spring. Davis came away impressed with what he saw in South Bend.

"It was a good trip," Davis said. "It was a lot of fun. I got to see the facilities and the field and I got to speak with the coaches. I was able to watch them practice as well and that was really cool. I also got to speak with coach (Brian) Kelly."
Davis was most impressed with one particular aspect of the Fighting Irish program.
"I really like all their coaches," he said. "They all were really cool when I was able to talk to all of them. They really made me feel at home."
Davis has no timetable for a decision at this point but hopes to pare his choices down a bit further relatively soon.
"I've sort of narrowed things down," he said. "I want to sit down with my parents and my coaches and do that together though."
Davis does admit that a handful of programs have piqued his interest though.
"I have some schools that I'm liking," he said, "but I don't know which one I want to go to yet. I like Texas, TCU, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Baylor right now. Those are the main ones right now for the most part."
Davis is currently ranked as the No. 14 cornerback and the No. 171 overall prospect in the country.
