It's fairly quiet out West as most of the top players out here have already made their decisions. There are three top players who are holding off on announcing until later tonight on Fox Sports Sports.
Los Angeles (Calif.) Verbum Dei receiver Reggie Dunn, Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame defensive back Shane Horton and Ontario (Calif.) Colony defensive back Omar Bolden will announce tonight on the Fox Sports Signing Show at 5:30 PST.
Dunn is down to Arizona and Oregon State and barring a change in the last 24 hours, we look for Dunn to end up a Beaver. The explosive wide out still needs to qualify but has the kind of speed and break away ability to play early at the college level.
Horton is down to UNLV and Washington and the Rebels look to be the choice right now. It will be interesting to see if UCLA tries to make a late run at Horton. They were going to trip Horton in two weeks ago but backed off after receiving commitments from two safeties, Glenn Love and Chris Conte. Conte has since signed with Cal so the question is, do the Bruins now go back after Horton?
Bolden will decide between ASU, Oregon State and USC with the Sun Devils looking very good right now. Major props go out to Dennis Erickson for how well the Sun Devils have closed in the last two weeks culminating in likely landing Bolden the day after snagging Norco offensive linemen Adam Tello and Garth Gerhart away from Colorado.
