A few grabbing Daniels attention

The state of North Carolina continues to produce impressive division one talent especially on the defensive line. Raleigh (N.C.) Millbrook defensive end Kengera Daniel is a continuing that trend and is racking up an impressive offer sheet.
"I think Michigan is my most recent offer," said the 6-foot-6, 250-pound Daniel. "It was pretty exciting when I got the Michigan offer. I talked to coach Manning. I plan on going up there on July 27 for the cook out."

There are a few schools that have caught Daniel's eye.
"Louisville has my attention since they offered and they put a defensive end in the league this year," he said. "That's a goal of mine so I'm definitely looking at them too.
"Alabama and Miami have been showing a lot of interest," Daniel said. "I don't have any top schools right now but there are definitely some that have grabbed my attention more than others.
"Wake Forest shows me the most attention and they're pretty close by so I talk to them a lot," he said. "I have a really good relationship with them. I've been down there quite a few times actually. It's not too far away. I just like getting around their coaching staff. They're kind of like family now. I talk the defensive line coach pretty much every day. I also talk a lot of their other coaches a lot."
Daniel has taken a few recent visits and is looking to take plenty more.
"I just visited Tennessee and it was pretty nice," said Daniel. "I met John Gruden up there when I was watching the quarterback camp. I spent the night with some players to see what it was like up there. I spent most of my time with coach Stripling and coach Thigpen. I got to look around the facilities and the town. I met coach Jones. It was definitely a great experience and my parents liked it.
"I went to Florida State's camp last year," he said. "They didn't offer but I still keep in contact with them occasionally. I've been talking with Miami about taking a visit down there. The Miami offer was kind of a surprise. I had never really talked to them before.
"I'm going to take quite a few more visit and do some more camps," Daniel said. "I think I'm going to Ohio State on June 21. I'll probably get up to Wake Forest and then I'm going to Alabama on July 14. I plan on visiting Kentucky too."
A decision from Daniel does not seem imminent but he is going to speed up the process.
"I'm gradating early and enrolling in January so I have to decide early," he said. "I don't want to decide before the season because I feel like that's too soon. I'll probably decide some time late in the season or after the season. I'll take some official visits."
Daniel added that he does not have a preference to staying in-state or going out-of-state. He is originally from Florida and has moved around quite a bit.
