A decision is in for Fish

According to Lawndale (N.C.) Burns head coach Matt Beam, punter Patrick Fish has come to a decision. Where is the 6-foot-0, 175-pounder going?
"He committed last Saturday," he said. "He just wanted to get it out of the way. He had a really good kicking experience at South Carolina this summer when he went down for the combines.

"He really did well and they were impressed and wanted to spend some money on him."
Beam is ecstatic for his talented punter.
"He's got the best job around," he said. "Of course his leg and leg strength are good, he gets a good amount of pop off his foot. He gets good height and is really consistent. He's averaging right around 40-yards a kick this year.
"Outside of football, he's a wonderful kid that has good grades and is a super person. He's really a fun loving kid and is hilarious. I wish the best for Pat."
Beam claims that Burns has one other prospect to watch this season in 5-foot-10, 185-pound defensive back Blake Presley.
"He transferred to us and has played all over," he said. "We moved him to safety last week and he had 11 tackles. He's a hardnosed kid, a competitor that is a really fierce competitor."
