A decision for an Aggie visitor

Corpus Christi (Texas) Calallen quarterback Jordan Chambless headed to College Station this weekend having narrowed his list to two schools.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Chambless visited Rice in December and was taking his final trip this weekend.

“The visit went really good,” the three-star rated Chambless said. “I don’t know if I have one highlight from the weekend, just the whole place is unbelievable.”
Chambless still on the way home from his visit had already decided being an Aggie was the thing for him.
“I did go ahead and commit,” he said. “I have to get Rice called here to tell them of my decision, but I have committed to play for Texas A&M.”
Chambless was recruited as a quarterback, but will have options.
“They recruited me as a quarterback, but one that can play a different position if need be. You never know what might come up.”
Chambless is also a baseball prospect and that played a part in his decision.
“Baseball was one of the biggest factors. The coaches at A&M were excited about me doing both. They have already talked to the baseball coaches about it and everyone is fine with it.”
