A classic Michigan-Ohio State battle

Michigan has certainly had a strong connection at Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain High School, and the Wolverines have offered a scholarship to an outstanding prospect there in linebacker Cobrani Mixon. However Mixon says Ohio State has offered as well and is among his top five choices along with Michigan.
"I have nine offers now," Mixon said. "Ohio State, LSU, Michigan, Louisville, West Virginia, Miami, Kent, Ohio, and Michigan State.

"Ohio State offered on a phone call. Michigan and LSU called and said they were going to be sending a letter. The rest of the offers were in letters.
"My top five is LSU, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, and probably Tennessee. I don't have a favorite. I'll decide sometime this summer."
This summer for Mixon will include a trip to Michigan.
"We go to the Michigan camp as a team," Mixon said.
What will be important in terms of Mixon's college selection?
"Whatever college fits me best," Mixon said. "I'm kind of looking at early playing time, but there is going to be competition wherever you go."
The 6-foot-2, 220 pound Mixon made 100 tackles including nine sacks during his junior season. He played a huge part in his team winning all 15 of it's game including a state championship. Mixon was named all-conference and all-city for his work.
