A chip off the old Hawk

Centerville, Ohio, linebacker Tyler Replogle hails from the same high school as former Ohio State great A.J. Hawk. The 6-foot-2 and 224-pound Replogle plays the same position Hawk did at Centerville and is similar to Hawk in size when Hawk was in high school. So the comparisons are logical.
The summer before his senior year Hawk received a scholarship offer from Ohio State. It remains to be seen whether the same thing happens to Replogle, but it is not out of the question.

"Indiana has offered," Replogle said. "West Virginia, Michigan, Ohio State, Pitt and Indiana, those are pretty much the ones I'm looking at."
Replogle is drawing interest from all of the schools on his list as well as many others.
"West Virginia, Pitt, Marshall, Indiana and some others have been to my school," Replogle said.
Replogle has seen a number of the schools he mentioned in person.
"I went to West Virginia, Indiana, Notre Dame, Pitt and Iowa," Replogle said. "I visited some of those in the fall and some in the spring. I went to Ohio State for a practice before their bowl game."
Replogle plans to wait things out at least a bit longer.
"I'd like to decide by early in the season," he said. "I'd like to take some official visits."
Replogle made 136 tackles including 24 behind the line during his junior season. He had eight sacks and two interceptions as his team won 10 of 12 games.
