A chain reaction for QBs

In the classic 80s song from The Fixx, the group repeated over and over that "one thing, one thing leads to another." Oh how right they were – especially when it comes to recruiting.
Rockwall, Texas, quarterback Zack Eskridge committed to TCU on Sunday after taking an official visit to Ft. Worth. The two-star quarterback had been committed to Wyoming and when the 6-foot-3, 195-pounder changed his mind, it opened the door for the Cowboys to offer a scholarship to Grapevine, Texas, quarterback Steven Headley.

Both players took official visits this weekend and the changes brought a dramatic end what had been a wild week.
Eskridge had been committed to Wyoming since November 23, but when TCU came knocking at his door he said he owed it to himself to check the Horned Frogs out.
It was a dramatic turn of events for Eskridge, who hadn't even gotten a call from the TCU staff until last Monday.
"The more I got to know the coaches the easier it became," Eskridge said.
"I had to develop a relation with these coaches. In four or five days I got to know them really well, feel comfortable with them and see things eye-to-eye with them.
"They wanted a second quarterback, and I couldn't pass up that opportunity."
Eskridge's opportunity led to one for Headley, who was named his district's most valuable player over higher ranked Alabama-bound Greg McElroy.
Headley, who is 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, had offers from Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston State heading into his visit to Wyoming this weekend.
After Eskridge decided to change his mind it led to an offer from the Cowboys and a very relieved and excited Headley.
"The coaches are great, and it's a great program," he said.
"I committed to them, and I play on redshirting. I was really starting to get nervous I'm not going to lie. I feel good that things worked out.
"I'm happy with my decision."
