A big offer for Kight

Joel Kight is a standout from the Peach State . Kight, 5-10 and 210 pounds, is from Lithonia (Ga.) Martin Luther King High School. If the last name sounds familiar to you than you will remember his older brother Kelvin Kight. He was a star at Lithonia High School before playing at Florida. Kight was drafted by the Patriots and now is in the CFL.
["Kelvin was playing with New England and then they picked up (Randy) Moss. That was it. Now he's in the Canada playing for Hamilton.

"I have learned a lot of from him. He basically told me to focus on my senior season and that recruiting will come. He told me to play as hard as I can and everything will fall into place."
Kight is being recruited on both sides of the ball as an outside linebacker and running back.
"As a linebacker I try and use my speed and I try and be the smartest player on the field. I am also physical out there.
"As a running back I just try and run as hard as I can. I am a north-south guy all the way."
According to Kight he has around 20 scholarship offers including ones from Oklahoma State, Indiana, Arizona State, UConn, and Boston College. His latest offer was today and that came from Ole Miss.
"That one surprised me because I have really not talked with them that much. But I know some people there and they tell me good things.
""I am kind of open to all. I want to see what else comes in as the season progresses. I will narrow things down as the season progresses."
This summer Kight camped at AU.
